Tesla Coil and Animated Logo

New version of my logo animation, with black background and black fog.
Last friday we looked into creating textures with photoshop, that we may use later on for our models, or for other photoshop works.

Then, today, I've created a Tesla Coil using Autodesk 3ds Max Design. I used metal ray to do the texturing and the rendering too. I have to say, it looks really good. I tried to add the lighting, but the glow effect doesn't work together with metal ray rendering. I'll try something with Vegas or AfterEffect.

Logo animated

Here's what I've done today during 3D modelling/animation class. I added fire effect and fog effect, finished the texturing, add lights and camera. I deleted (for the moment) the title. I will remake the effects with After Effects, eventually (I had a look to a couple of video tutorial). This is the far I can get using 3ds Max.

Photography and photomanipulation

Here's a collection of some photos I've taken for Photoshop course.
Also, a bit of manipulation and photo collage.

Animation

There we go: I tried to use the plugin Ray Fire to create a realistic building explosion. Then I added a fire explosion effects on the top and rendered the final animation. Since it' gonna be most likely impossible to render the village with both texture and animation, I'll probably mix up things using Photoshop, Vegas and After Effects (for this software I still need to learn how to use it!).

Here I have the textured logo for Paradox 1915 with some animation. I'm planning to put some sort of fire inside the sphere and smoke effect all over, but probably I'll use After Effects for that. Then I'll probably animate the title separatly. I think I may try to make it glow, or metallic, or... still don't know. I'll figure it out somehow. Also I have to decide for the camera angle. Right now I've got two ideas: one, zooming out from the inside of the fire in the sphere; otherwise, rotating around the logo, but I'm not so sure about this one, we'll see.

Adventure Time

Okkey, at the beginning I really didn't like Adventure Time, it was so... so... WEIRD. With this strange silly drawings and a lot of randomness going on all the time. Then I came to like it and eventually kinda love it. I guess I have to thank my brother that kept on saying that I HAD to see it. So... here we have Marceline (my fav) the vampire, in the cartoon's style and then in my own. The other drawing is just some sort of concept art for a teenage vampire, for no purpose at all, just for fun, using Adventure time's style as inspiration.
